2024 Election Resources

Calvary Chapel Santa Barbara does not endorse ballot measures or candidates. However, God calls upon us as Christians to be Salt & Light (Matthew 5:13-16) in our culture! Let us, as God’s Church, be loving community members and exemplary citizens of our voting privileges.

Below are non-partisan voter tools that can be used by an individual or a Church. The “Voter Guide” (below) is provided by the “Craig Huey Team” who researches candidates/ballot measures through a process of questionnaires and rating systems so that we can vote for and not against our Biblical values. Voting as a Christian is not a political activity but rather an urgent prayerful, faithful and spiritual exercise in biblical stewardship.

“It is the duty of nations as well as citizens to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions in humble sorrow yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon, and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history: that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord.” President Abraham Lincoln

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people” groan. Proverbs 29:2
