Join us for Hume Lake Winter Camp 2022!!
We recognize the very important need for students to have time set apart to be away from social media and in God’s word. We will be spending two nights at Hume Lake Christian Camp (January 28th-30th)!
We will be out of cell service and in some of the most beautiful creation God has made. We will be diving into God’s word morning and evening, along with worship and fellowship. During the day we will ice skate, go sledding, play games and broom hockey, sip hot chocolate, and have many other great adventures!!
The cost of the trip is $275. This will cover the cost of camp, travel, and a sweatshirt. If a scholarship is needed, please reach out to Will@calvarysb.com. If you are interested in supporting a kid to get to camp, please let us know!
This year, with the added challenge of Covid 19, Hume Lake is requiring each attending student to have a negative Covid test before arriving at Camp. Because we are unable take at home tests, we will be gathering together the Thursday before camp (January 27) to get our negative tests and enjoy a meal together! This is still in motion and the final plan may change. We appreciate your flexibility and prayers as we trust the Lord!
As challenging as these present times are, we believe that nothing should prevent a student from attending camp to hear the Gospel and disconnect from technology so that they can connect with the Lord.

Drop off is 8am Friday morning, and we will be back around 8pm Sunday night.
A short packing list would be:
- Sleeping bag
- Pillow
- Bible
- Cold weather clothes
- Reusable water bottle
- Flashlight
- Cash for two fast food meals, and spending money for the general store
- Gloves
- Good shoes
- Mask
- Toiletries
We so hope you can join us on this awesome trip. We will be staying in cabins at Hume, separated for the boys and girls. There will be working showers.
